Glenn’s extensive swimming background spans more than 50 years. Starting swimming at the age of 5, he went on to set National Age-Group records, National Meet Records, National High School Record, and won the 1980 United States Olympic Trials in the 200 breaststroke. In 1983, Glenn won the Division 1 NCAA Championships for the University of Alabama.
Renown as one of the world’s leaders in stroke technique, teaching and evaluations, Glenn has been a featured speaker at the ASCA World Coaching Conference, and the FINA World Coaching Conference.
In 2016, Glenn was Awarded the Paragon Award by the International Swimming Hall of Fame for his longstanding contributions to the sport of Competitive Swimming.
A multi National Team Member, as well as having worked with more than 50 Olympic Athletes through GoSwim, Glenn shares his knowledge through the GoSwim website, as well as social media, and has shared more than 100 million videos to more than 170 countries, making GoSwim the most impactful swimming technique entity in the world.
